What is a Source Protection Committee?

Every source protection region in Ontario has a Source Protection Committee. This is a requirement of the Clean Water Act. The Quinte Region Source Protection Committee is responsible for monitoring the methods related to the gathering of source protection information, assessing threats, developing policies and supporting implementation of the Quinte Region Source Protection Plan.
