North parking lot at Potter’s Creek closed to the public until January 29th

The north parking lot at Potter’s Creek Conservation Area will be closed to the public starting January 19th and will remain closed until, at the earliest, January 29th for barn demolition.
Visitors looking to use the north side trail system are asked to park in the south side parking lot and use the tunnel to cross the road. Visitors to the North trails are also asked to be mindful of the closure and to obey posted signs.

Due to changing weather conditions, ice is starting to form on lakes and rivers within the Watershed.

QUINTE CONSERVATION STARTS PLANS TO BUILD NEW STORAGE FACILITY WITH SUPPORT FROM THE JOHN M. & BERNICE PARROTT FOUNDATION
A new state of the art storage facility will be built at Potter’s Creek Conservation Area to house Quinte Conservation’s maintenance and monitoring equipment. This new facility will replace the barn, which until last year, had been used for storage until it was deemed a health and safety concern and unfit for use.
