QUINTE CONSERVATION’S TRAILS REMAIN ICY DURING THAW AND FREEZE CYCLE
Warming weather conditions throughout the day and below freezing temperatures at night are contributing to ice accumulation on Quinte Conservation trails throughout the watershed.
Conservation Areas will remain open, but visitors are reminded that these are natural spaces and that sand and salt is not applied to the trails.
When visiting the areas it is best to dress appropriately. Wear proper footwear for traveling over ice, and dress in layers and waterproof clothing.
