CELEBRATING 75 YEARS OF CONSERVATION

Quinte Conservation is thrilled to be celebrating 75 years of conservation efforts in 2022 throughout the Watersheds of Moira River, Napanee Region, and Prince Edward County.

Chief Administrative Officer, Brad McNevin, says, “Moving into our 75th year, we reflect on our history in conservation and explore the ways in which we have grown and continue to service the community and environment.”

Originally designated in 1947, Quinte Conservation has worked tirelessly with municipalities, residents, and partner groups to generate programs and services aimed at protecting and preserving this region’s significant lands and waterways to create a safe and healthy environment for all.

McNevin adds, “We’re very excited for this milestone and eager to share with watershed residents and community members all of the events and projects that we will be delivering under the umbrella of the 75th anniversary.”

Over the course of the year, the organization plans to deliver a series of commemorative activities and initiatives throughout the watershed. Follow Quinte Conservation online at QuinteConservation.ca and through social media as more details will be released throughout 2022.
