PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: TREE PLANTING WITH CANADIAN ARMED FORCES AND QUINTE CONSERVATION
WHAT: Quinte Conservation will be partnering with 8 Wing Trenton to plant trees in the Quinte Area.
WHERE: Longwell Property which is owned by Quinte Conservation. West of Foxboro located on Wilson Rd. just off of Frankford Rd.

DETAILS: To assist in offsetting the carbon footprint created by the Quinte International Air Show (QIAS), 8 Wing Trenton has purchased 2,000 trees to be planted in the Quinte Conservation watersheds. The funds covered the cost for this year’s Seedlings for Shorelines program and will pay for two other separate planting events.
On May 5th, Colonel Colin Keiver, 8 Wing Commander, and Lieutenant-Colonel Cathy Blue, 2016 QIAS Co-Chair, will plant a tree with local members of Scouts Canada.
This is an excellent opportunity to get photos of Quinte Conservation working with 8 Wing Trenton and Scouts Canada to promote land restoration.
