FAMILY FUN DAY AT THE FRINK
Quinte Conservation will be hosting an outdoor family event at the H.R. Frink Conservation Area on the Family Day Holiday. There will be outdoor activities including a family orienteering course, y-stick rattle making and music circle around the campfire, cone bird feeder making, snowshoeing (conditions permitting), scavenger hunt, backyard birding with naturalist Terry Sprague, nature mysteries table, survival shelter building, and a Lost in the Woods Storywalk. This is a great opportunity for guests to spend some time outdoors this winter and enjoy the trails.
Guests are welcome to pack their own lunches or they can purchase a hotdog lunch for $2.00. This event is suitable for young children. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is a fundraiser for the H.R. Frink Conservation Area and proceeds will support ongoing projects.
