UNION GAS MAKES GENEROUS DONATION TO QUINTE
CONSERVATION SUMMER EDUCATION PROGRAM
Quinte Conservation’s Wild About Wildlife Family Nature Days are getting a boost thanks to a $1500
donation from Union Gas. Education Coordinator, Maya Navrot, says “We are extremely excited to have
received this generous donation and are pleased to continue our partnership with Union Gas.”
Navrot adds, “Thanks to their contributions over the years, we have had the opportunity to further
strengthen the education programs in our communities. This means that our watershed initiatives are
becoming stronger as youth are learning the importance of a healthy watershed. We hope that many
families and local residents will come to our Wild About Wildlife Days this summer to get a chance to
meet some wildlife up close and learn more about our watersheds.”
Phil Langlois, Union Gas Utility Services Construction Manager, will present a cheque for $1500 to Quinte
Conservation on July 5th, 2017. He says, “At Union Gas, we believe that environmental conservation and
education is simply the right thing to do, for this generation and generations to come.”
Langlois adds, “We’re very proud to continue our support of Quinte Conservation’s Wild About Wildlife
Family Nature Days, helping local children and their families explore their environment through hands-on
interactive activities.”
