UNION GAS MAKES GENEROUS DONATION TO QUINTE CONSERVATION EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Quinte Conservation’s Wild About Wildlife Family Nature Days are getting a boost thanks to a $1500 donation from Union Gas. Education Coordinator, Maya Navrot, says “We are extremely excited to have received this generous donation and are pleased to continue our partnership with Union Gas.”
Navrot adds, “Thanks to their contributions over the years, we have had the opportunity to further strengthen the education programs in our communities. This means that our watershed initiatives are becoming stronger as youth are learning the importance of a healthy watershed. We hope that many families and local residents will come to our Wild About Wildlife Days during the first week of August to get a chance to meet some wildlife up close and learn more about our watersheds.”
Phil Langlois, Union Gas Utility Services Construction Manager, will present a cheque for $1400 to Quinte Conservation on August 4th, 2016. He says, “At Union Gas, we’re proud to support the important work that Quinte Conservation is doing for environmental education in this community.”
