QUINTE CONSERVATION’S WILD ABOUT WILDLIFE DAYS
Quinte Conservation’s education staff will be hosting Wild about Wildlife Days across the watershed this summer. Education and Stewardship Coordinator Maya Navrot says, “We are expecting a great turn out for this year’s Wild about Wildlife days. These days are great opportunities for families and people of all ages to get outdoors and learn about their natural surroundings, explore their environment, and learn about fascinating creatures through hands-on interactive activities. Each day is jam packed with a variety of activities so that each child can learn and experience many different things.”
Activities Include:
 Make a paper pot and bring home a wildflower for bees and butterflies
 Meet live falcons and learn about raptors from 12-2
 Learn about water bugs and meet some creek critters
 Learn about your watershed with our watersheds model
 Learn about invasive species that live in our area
 Create art in nature
 Live interactive Ontario Reptiles At Risk display
