CELEBRATE SALAMANDER DAY WITH QUINTE CONSERVATION AND THE SALAMANDER MAN
Join award-winning Salamander Conservationist Matt Ellerbeck (A.K.A The Salamander Man) for an insightful and educational presentation on salamanders. This event is part of an initiative started by the Foundation for the Conservation of Salamanders to raise awareness about salamanders, their habitats and their role in the ecosystem. To help with these efforts, Salamander Conservationist Matt Ellerbeck will be providing two free presentations on the conservation of these animals on Friday May 5th at 3:00pm and 4:00pm at the Quinte Conservation office. The presentations will feature many live salamanders for visitors to meet, including both local and exotic species.
The presentations are free to attend, but you must register online at www.quinteconservation.ca in advance, as spaces are limited.
