QUINTE CONSERVATION LAUNCHES FREE WOODLAND WELLNESS EVENTS
Quinte Conservation (QC) is excited to announce a new series of Woodland Wellness Events, running this fall. These free events offer an opportunity to connect with nature and improve well-being through activities designed to nurture both body and mind.
Here’s a look at the current series of events.
- Walking in the Woods: Across 10 conservation areas, explore our trails with Donna Kaye, who will guide you through a refreshing and restorative experience. Kaye, a recently retired Forest and Nature School Practitioner and Early Childhood Educator, enjoys woodland walks, gardening, and exploring nature. Walking in the Woods will take place on Mondays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm until November 25.
- Poses at Potter's: Join Tammy Smith for outdoor yoga at the scenic shoreline of South Potter's Creek Conservation Area. Enjoy the calming influence of nature as you move through gentle yoga poses designed to help you unwind and reconnect. Smith is the owner and founder of Satya Healing & Wellness in Stirling, Ont. She has a passion for helping others find peace and clarity, especially through nature-based yoga. Poses at Potter’s will take place on Tuesdays from 12:15 to 12:50 pm until October 29.
- And, with more Woodland Wellness Events in the works, be sure to check QC’s events calendar regularly as the lineup continues to grow at calendar.quinteconservation.ca.
Whether you’re looking to de-stress, find inspiration in nature, or simply enjoy the great outdoors, these events offer a perfect way to take a break and recharge.
Registration is required for these events, as space is limited. Participants of all fitness levels are welcome, and each session will be led by experienced guides and instructors. Parking is free for all participants. Donations are kindly accepted and will be reinvested in QC’s stewardship, education and outreach programs.
