FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR MOIRA, NAPANEE AND SALMON RIVER WATERSHEDS
The Flood Warning issued by Quinte Conservation on Sunday remains in effect for the Moira, Napanee, and Salmon River watersheds. QUINTE CONSERVATION ISSUES FLOOD WARNING
Quinte Conservation has issued a Flood Warning due to high flows and water levels in local rivers. Water Resources Manager Christine McClure says, “In the Moira River system the flows in the northern region, such as Actinolite and Tweed, have peaked. The Moira River at Foxboro should peak in the next couple of days. The Napanee and Salmon Rivers are approaching their peaks and will remain high for an extended period of time.”
