LOW WATER CONDITIONS IN THE QUINTE REGION PERSIST IN
SPITE OF RECENT RAIN
The Quinte Region received less than 30 millimetres of rain over the last few days. Quinte
Conservation Water Resources Manager Christine McClure says, “The recent rain has not been
enough to help our current low water conditions. Flows in the Moira, Napanee and Salmon

The Flood Warning issued by Quinte Conservation on Sunday remains in effect for the Moira, Napanee, and Salmon River watersheds. QUINTE CONSERVATION ISSUES FLOOD WARNING
Quinte Conservation has issued a Flood Warning due to high flows and water levels in local rivers. Water Resources Manager Christine McClure says, “In the Moira River system the flows in the northern region, such as Actinolite and Tweed, have peaked.
