There are several ways to support local conservation initiatives.  All donations over $10.00 will be recognized by a receipt for income tax purposes.

Adopt An Acre

Quinte Conservation owns and maintains over 30 Conservation Areas, ranging in size from quaint parkettes of less than an acre, to huge areas like Depot Lakes and Sheffield.  The Adopt An Acre program was founded in 1994 as a novel way for those who enjoy spending time in these special areas to acknowledge their support with a donation.

Become a Friend of Quinte Conservation

Your annual donation of $25 will go towards improvements at local Conservation Areas and includes a subscription to Ripple Effects, Quinte Conservation's quarterly newsletter.

Make a Donation

Your donation will help us protect and restore our watersheds, and work towards a healthy environment where people and nature live in harmony.

Memorial Trees

Help support existing forests in our region and contribute to the creation of new forested areas by making a $100.00 donation to commemorate a special event or celebrate the life of a friend or loved one.  Whatever the occasion, this is a very special way to honour an employee, friend or relative.  You may make your donation to celebrate a birth, an achievement, an anniversary, a retirement, a milestone, honour a memory or another other special event.

Bequests

Create your own legacy for conservation in our region!  As part of your estate planning, consider making a gift to Quinte Conservation so that we may carry out our environmental work well into the future.

  • Call our office at 613-968-3434 or email us to find out more about making a bequest
